Does Taking Azithromycin Cause Loose Stools And Headache?

Sir...... yesterday in the night I have taken azithromycin as prescribed by the dermatalogist for acne after half an hour,loose motion started and headache and itchin near the lips etc....symptoms are there.so sir my question is should I continue the medicine or not? And I m allergic of two drugs...ciprofloxacin and tinidazole.

Hello.It is possible that you suffer from allergy-intolerance to Azithromycin.
Your doctor should replace Azithromycin for other effective antibiotic to treat skin infections such as Clindamycin or Doxycycline.
