Does Swelling In The Elbow Due To Bursitis Go Down On Its Own?

Have right elbow bursitis.... the swelling continues to stay about the same. The size of a racket ball. Doing lots of stretching and tight bands. It’s been about 2weeks. Ready for the pain to be better. Sore by touch and extremely painful if bumped. Can I expected this to go all the way down? Signed, Concerned

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Generally, a lump will get resolved by itself.

If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedician and plan for aspiration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
