Does Swallowing A Metal Ring Cause Sluggish Bowel Movement?
Hi, I swallowed my lip ring on accident Saturday night. It still has not passed. I feel kinda sick but I m not sure if that is what the problem is. I have sluggish bowels and I think it might be a problem. Should I go to the e.r. now or is it okay to wait until tomorrow?

You may want to wait if your symptoms are not severe because they would likely state that it would come out in your stool.
If you have constipation then the short term use of a medication to help you stool may be needed.
Laxatives are available over the counter.
