Does Sudden Intake Of The Tobacco Smoke Cause Swollen Lymph Node Behind My Ear?
I've quit smoking for months, but lately had a couple with alcohol. I noticed a lump behind my right ear. From what I've read, it's the lymph node... I am not getting sick, but I wonder; could the lymph node behind my ear be swollen because of the sudden intake of the tobacco smoke?
Hello,
There can be many reasons for the swelling behind the ears like the sebacous cyst , lymph node any other cyst, enlarged salivary gland , etc. You must consult your doctor for that.
sudden intake of tobbacco smoke can not cause lymph node enlargement.
Get consultation done then if required then fine needle aspiration cytology for the tissue diagnosis can be done
