Does Stretching Aggravate Hip Bursitis?

I have hip bursitis I m having ultrasound and am put on a machine a little like a tens. I have been asked to now do stretching however this has now made it worse. I m also starting with bursitis in my other hip. Is it normal to feel worse after my stretches?

It is not normal to feel worse after stretching. It is recommended to do stretching exercises while having bursitis. The exercises should be done under the supervision of a physical therapist who can dive you which exercises are correct.
