Does Stress Lead To Hypothyroidism?

Hello. I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism based on high TSH result (6.4). I was prescribed levothyroxine which I haven t started yet. What part does stress play in raising the level (I ve had a lot recently) and shouldn t I get a full thyroid panel done first to determine in more detail what is wrong/needed? And can I get my TSH down to normal range with natural remedies (i.e. vitamins/ minerals designed to do just that)? Thank you!

At TSH 6.4 we cannot Label you as patient of Hypothyroidism.
Normal T S H level is 0.40 to 4.60 umU/ml (varies from lab. to lab).
No Doctor would start treatment only on reports .
To start the treatment Doctor has would see complaints in favor of Hypothyroidism Plus T S H > 10.
It is commonly seen with Depression,Diabetes,Vit D3 & Calcium Deficiency but vitamin supplement only cannot treat it.
Any query.
Give feed back to H C M .
Thanks.
