Does Spironolactone Cause Sight Loss?

I have just started a cuorse of spironolactone having severe head pains lost sight in right eye for about 40 mins used drops which I use for glaucoma have been using drops last 3 years sight returned pain eased off cardiologist started me on this course 4 days in to this treatment do I continue to use or wait to see eye specialist iread you use this treatment for constipation I have been told this is for hypertension

Yes, spirinolacton is used for hypertension however, sight loss is not reported side effect of this medication and you should see if there is some other possible cause such as Glacuoma worsening, optic neuritis or diabetes. So you should not focus on medication as the possible cause. YOu need to see ophtalologist and neurologist to evaluate this eye disorder.
