Does Smoking Marijuana Harm The Female Reproductive System?

Hi I am 19 years old and would like to know if smoking cannabis and methamphetamines on and off since 2015 is detrimental to the functionality of my menstral system and Fallopian tubes or ovaries in particular? My diet has been poor and I don’t drink water enough either.. But, in early 2013 or 2014 I had an implanon contraceptive put in and got that out due to expiration mid last year.. Please get back to me

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Marijuana does not have any direct effect on female reproductive system. However poor diet and nutritional deficiency may cause amenorrhea (absence of periods) and other menstrual irregularities and may result in infertility.
So marijuana use should be discontinued or stopped.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
