Does Sinusitis Cause Swelling In The Cheeks?

My daughter has some swelling on her left check but has not had a physical injury on that side of her face. Would a sinus infection cause this? Is it possible to have an infection only on one side and in one area? She does not have a headache or toothache or pain even in the swollen area. She does have some allergies to pollen. We live in South Carolina and have had a very warm spring with several trees already bloomed and putting on leaves already.

What is the age of your daughter? is she also getting fever or no?
Has someone in family, friend or school have a similar problem?
Does not look like sinusitis.
Most common cause for such a swelling is a viral infection like mumps.
Recommend to give her paracetamol for fever/pain (if any).
Maintain oral hygiene, use normal saline gargles for the same
In case symptoms like fever, pain develops hen let me know.
