Does Sinusitis Cause Headache And Sore Throat?

I currently was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Pressure was reading 151/100 yesterday when I went to the doctor. They gave me a shot for the pain. When I came home still had that headache. Finally went to sleep. My question is could my sinuses be causing this headache because my throats is sore and drainage.I have been spitting out since I awoke this morning. She also said in my throats when she look I had some acidic going on.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Frequent sore throat or rhinitis are responsible for sinusitis. Headache is most common symptom of sinusitis with feeling of fullness in face. However you also mentioned high blood pressure. Hypertension to such an extent can also cause frequent headaches. So complete antibiotic course (Amoxicillin 8 hourly for 7 days) for sinusitis. And start treatment for hypertension at earliest.
