Does Severe Bruising At Site For Drawing Blood And Soreness Of The Arm Need Medical Attention?
I donated plasma at Bio-life 4 days ago. There was some trouble with the cuff and the attendant had to keep closing it. I think she may have pulled it too tight each time she tried to get the velcro to stay together. After the donation my muscle in my upper arm was sore. The next day some bruising underneath my arm showed up. By the 2nd day the bruising became worse and now it is an area approximately 6 inches long and 2-3 inches wide and very dark purple. The muscle in my upper arm are still somewhat sore and even my shoulder is sore. I have put warm compresses on it several times and I already take anti imflammatory meds for arthritis. Is there something else I should be worried about or do or will time by all I need for healing?

Chances of trauma is likely because of too tight cuff, and this appeared as bruise, actually infection is the matter here else nothing to worry about this and this would come around without any complication, no need to treat the condition, take care.
