Does Right Sided Back Pain Indicate Kidney Stones?
I saw a urologist yesterday after 4 rounds and over 5 weeks of antibiotics for a UTI and/or kidney infection. I have right side back pain once or twice a week..first thing in the morning.... but it goes away after a few hrs. The urologist thinks I have stones that haven t passed, so he did a CT scan. I m waiting for the results..and of course it s a holiday weekend. Today I suddenly had sharp pains below my right breast that took my breath away. It causes me to gasp when I move certain ways. I thought maybe the stone was passing, but the pain isn t constant. Now, the pain goes through from under my right breast to my back below my right shoulder blade. It hurts to take a deep breath...as though something is in the way of my ribs. Is this still a kidney issue? Is it possible the kidney is swollen or inflamed instead of stones?
HI Well come to HCM pain that is being described here may not be due to kidney or stone but this could be due to some gastro intestinal problem and most of the time and probably this could be due to acid peptic disease in my opinion this can be best treated with, "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Tab Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for few weeks, hope this information helps, take care.
