Does Red Dye In B12 For Vitamin Deficiency Cause Swelling In Feet?

I am currently being treated for a vitamin D level of 10 & low b12. One week after starting the meds I started swelling in my feet & an kles. I was told could be the red dye in the b12. Today, another doctor said could be venous. I had no problems before .
