Does Recurring UTI Indicate Problem In Kidney Or Prostate Glands?

I have a question about urinary track infections.. I have been getting these UTI's since I was 17 yrs old I'm now 23 I keep on getting UTI's. My last experience was terrible my UTI was so bad tht I was peeing blood ... the doctor told me that I have relapses of these UTI's .. My question is if I keep getting these recurring UTI's does this mean I might have a serious problem with my kidney's or my prostate glands ?
