Does Recovery Post Carbuncle Removal Surgery Take A Long Time?

my father is 48 years old and having a carbuncle on his back it is removed by a surgery. it is a very major surgery. can u tell me heel me how much time it will take to heal and what is the alternative or substitute for oxum solution because it is not availabe in Delhi

Hello! Thank you for writing us here. Well, the recovery depends on the extent and severity if the wound made after excision. Normally if its too big, it would likely take minimum one month or one and a half month for its healing.
And to your second question, oxum solution is a supplement for low sodium is body. It can also be replaced by simple iodised salt which everyone have in their homes. But be careful with it. Just add an extra pinch to the food which your father have for low sodium in body. But remember don't use excess of salt or take oxum solution with lots of salt in diet.
