Does Peroxide Cause Foaming Of Skin Swollen From Bruise?
Hi I scratched up my knee pretty bad 3 days ago by landing on it and it swoll up , the sweeping is almost gone but now I'm puttin peroxide on it and it keeps bubbling I did this 10 times already and the foam keeps coming back do I need to go to the hospital and where my cut is my whole upper thigh to my hip bone hurts
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if peroxide cause foaming of skin swollen from bruise. Well the peroxide use to create foam when put on cit or wound because of excess oxygen in it , with the help of which it can sterilize the wound . But excess use of peroxide is also not good , moreover it seems to me the the infection in your wound has spread beyond the reach of peroxide . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may examine physically . Doctor may give stitches to wound and prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to surgeon , who may open the wound to remove infected tissue .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
