Does Pain In The Upper Left Arm Indicate Heart Attack?
I have been having pain in my upper left arm off and on for a while now. It started again yesterday and hasn t eased up since. I went thru the 10 signs of heart attack and could answer yes to 4 of them. I am 65 year old male and have always been in great health. Should I be concerned enough to go to the er?
Hi, This pain can be due to cervical spondilits and or degenerative changes in your shoulder joint. But at the same time this can be due to cardiac problem as well. So it is better to go for EKG to rule out any cardiac ailment. If we miss spondilitis pain it is ok but we should not miss cardiac problem as it can create big problem if we miss. Ok and take care.
