Does Norethisterone Has Any Side Effects?

hi doc, im 25 years old asian female, 160cm ,weight 70kg. my mestrual prolong up to 18days after taking mercilon and postinor2..then, my doctor advice me to take norethiserone 5mg (i ve taken a pill just now) to cure my condition. may i know the effect to me? what will happen to me after i taking this pill?

Norethisterone is a synthetic form of progestin and has similar effects to female hormone progesterone which is used to treat heavy periods, painful periods, irregular periods, endometriosis, breast cancer etc. Side effects of norethisterone are irregular menstrual periods, stomach pain, enlargement of breasts, aches, facial hair growth, headaches, weight gain, dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, difficulty in breathing, difficulty in swallowing, chest pain, allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting etc.
