hi doctor, am a male 23 yrs from kenya . resently wel in july last year i visited a strip club in the city and got a lapdance. things got hot and i hapened to insert my finger into a prostitutes vagina , cant belive i paid 10bucks for that. my que is in regard to hiv and the risk involved. i just put in my finger in her for like 10 seconds and she said that was it. got back to my senses and drove home , washed my hads wen i got there . was i at risk considering its keya and hiv is very high here .

Assuming that your finger was intact ( no cut or wound on finger).
Large multi-institutional studies have indicated that the risk of HIV transmission following exposure to vaginal or cervical secretion even,if female is HIV infected ( documented ) on intact skin is not possible .
In your case it was just for 10 seconds , so no chance of getting HIV infection by you with this way.
Don't take any stress .
But if you are in any type of serious stress then get in rapid nucleic acid amplification test for HIV confirmation ( pcr , rna P 24).
Since in your case episode was of last year , so ELISA test would be the best for you for HIV confirmation.
