Does Nebulizer Help In Reducing Severe Cough?

Hi, my 5 year old boy is on tamiflu and is having severe cough as of now though he has been improving over last few days. Is it ok if I neubelize him with levolin respules or there is another better way of addressing his cough so he can sleep. Thanks for your help.

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
Since he is receiving Tamiflu for the influenza and having severe cough and unable to sleep you can give Montelukast syrup or inhaler so that it will reduce the intensity and frequency of his cough. If the cough does not subside or he develops fever kindly taken an opinion from the child specialist to rule out the possibility of chest infection.
