Does Meningioma Cause Stiff Tongue And Speech Disorder?

my mother (78yr) can not speak and swallow. She is also disoriented. She has meningioma and the surgeon says that the meningioma (3cm) is too small to cause this effect. She has a stiff tongue and has fits of involuntary movements related to her side moving sideways and her arms going up and down.y Any help would be greatly appreciated
