Does Medication For Malaria Cause Irregular Periods?
Hi. I two months ago I took some emergency contraceptive and I didn t miss my period but this January I have not taken any but am on malaria medication. Pls can all this medication interfere with my cycle? I have take 2 different home pregnancy test. Am a mother of 1
Thanks for asking at Healthcare magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Antimalarial does not cause miss periods. There are factors like stress, oral contraceptive pills even if taken two months before can lead to hormonal imbalance that causes miss periods. breast feeding also cause miss periods naturally. I would like to advise you not to be much worried have a proper vaginal ultrasonography, Serum Beta HCG. Do regular aerobic excersizes 30 minutes a day five days a week. take plenty of fluids.
