Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son's Seroquel was lowered from 800 mil at nite to 600 mil and a week or two later was having anger issues daily; he called his doctor regarding the issue and was given an appointment to address two weeks from the call, should this have been addressed asap?

Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this sudden anger management crisis that your child has. if the only thing that has hanged recently is this drug dosage, then it may be the cause. However, allowing sometime to appropriately conclude that it is the sole cause and not just a transient observation before acting would be a great idea. I think your doctor is right about giving sometime before concluding and intervening and more so because this is not a life threatening problem.
I hope you find this useful. I wish you well. Feel free to request for more information and ask ore questions should need be. Thanks.
