Does Low Hemoglobin Count Lead To Pain In Left Abdomen Radiating Towards Back?

Hi my nephew was in the emergency room yesterday. With pain in left side of the abdomen, very sharp pain which sometimes would shoot to the back. They told him that his hemogloeben was low and in the 12 range. They want to do a colonoscopy but they don t have any openings till the 29th. I feel he should go for a second opinion

Hi,

All examination need to be done stool examination is also imp, blood CBC, ESR, CRP to be done plus rapid malaria test and other small rapid tests can be helpful! Yes u can go for second opinion also! It's low hemoglobin can be diet related, immune system, stress, infections, genetic. When he becomes good take him for counseling also to I excel workshop of behavior therapy it's good to prevent these in future.
