Does Long Term Usage Of Pariet Affect Absorption Of Vitamins?

I have been taking 20mg of Pariet every morning for around 5 years for Reflux and have recently weaned myself off of them as I did some research which told me proton-inhibitors are not intended for long-term use and stop the body probably absorbing vitamins and minerals etc from food. Is this correct?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the ideal dose of proton pump inhibitor is 40 mg (Omeprazole ) once in day at evening time for maximum six weeks and this should not be exceeded than this, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
