Does Long-term Intake Of Antacids For Gastritis Cause Side Effects?
I have a gas trick problem with duodenitis but not chronic since few years endoscopy done , ultrasound and all other medication done. Psychiatric medicines are also taking , health improved but not completely cured,dietry system changed.I have taking antacid medicines since long.ls there any chronic side effects? PSE.reply

Dear, antacid containing medicine contain Megnesium and Aluminium Salts may can cause diarrhea or constipation. Long term use may cause aluminium salts may cause toxicity, Colic, dementia, esophagitis, gastroenteritis, kidney damage, liver dysfunction, loss of appetite etc..
