Hi, Krimson 35 contains both ethinyl estradiol and Cryproterone which is used to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) such as excessive hair growth or hirsutism, acne and irregular periods. It also works as a contraceptive, hence avoid using any other contraceptive pill. Side effects of Krimson 35 are nausea, vomiting, headache, sweating, dizziness, irregular uterine bleeding, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods, delayed wound healing, changes in body weight, fatigue, tiredness, weakness, mood swings, depression, changes in appetite, dry mouth, vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, changes in sleep pattern, breast tenderness and enlargement, acnes, facial hair growth, changes in sexual drive, allergic reactions etc. Isotretinoin can be taken with oral contraceptive pills like Krimson 35 but before starting please consult a dermatologist as certain tests are important to be done before starting. Isotretinoin oral dose depends upon the grade or severity of acne and prescribed accordingly to the weight of the patient. And few investigations have to be done before prescribing Isotretinoin.
