Does Intake Of Methylprednislolone Show In Blood Test?

Hello, I am currently taking 6 days of methylprednisolone for a dizziness condition. My functional medicine chiropractor wants to do blood work on me Wednesday (5th day). Will this medication skew results of other than white blood cell count and blood sugar? If yes , which, and how long should I wait before having those tests performed?

Hi,
If you are taking methylprednisolone drug since 6 days, it is not going to affect the test results of WBC count or blood sugar.
If the drug were to have been taken for a long time, then results could have varied depending on any suppression of bone marrow or uncontrolled sugar, if you were diabetic.
You can get your workup done and followup if you want with me.
Hope it helped.
If you have any further queries, happy to help again.
