Does Intake Of Plan B Affect The Pregnancy In Future?

I took plan B after having unprotected sex. I am on the oral contraceptive birth control pills and I take them every day on time. The reason I took Plan B was because I was taking UTI antibiotics a week before. I was afraid the antibiotics affected my birth control. My question is, can taking plan B affect pregnancy in the future? And how long does the hormones in plan B go away?

Hi & Welcome.

If not used frequently, Plan-B will not affect the fertility in the future.

If it is used more than once in a menstrual cycle it is more likely to upset your menstrual cycle resulting in irregular menstrual bleeding.

It will take about two weeks for the hormone (Levonorgestrel) in Plan-B to go away.

Hope these answers your query.
