Does Intake Of Norethisterone Leads To Abortion During Pregnancy?
I m 38 years old.I have two kids. This month I missed my menstrual cycle.just 5 days over. I consulted doctor and my urine sample tells its positive I.e pregnant. My doctor prescribed norethisterone Regulate 5 mg tablet for 3 days. Is this tablet helps in abortion?

I understand your concern.
No Norethisteron does not cause/.help abortion. It just causes withdrawal bleeding in case oof delay in period without pregnancy.
Still, your pregnancy test of urine was done after 5 days dealy in periods, this might have been +ve because error in test/ contaminated urine sample.
Urine pregnancy test is reliable after 8 days delay in periods.
* Take the course of tablets you have already started, you may get bleeding in case the urine test was wrong.If you don't get periods with the pills abort the fetus.
