Does Intake Of Metformin Cause Lightheadedness?
I was just diagnosed with diabetes 2. And have started on metaformin I have been taking it for 10 days. 5 days in and I started having lightheadedness episodes at times. Just sitting in lounge or rolling over in bed and feeling a little nauseaus Could this be a side effect

Usually metformin do not cause side effects like hypoglycemia or lightheadness. These are very rare. I suggest you to consult with Endocrinologist and measure the level of sugar in blood and check the blood pressure.
