Hi, Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Asad Riaz, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem. pain after few days of Truama can be due to injury to nerve or surrounding tissue that are not feel at that tym due to strong analgesia given at time of injury.. if u were my patient I would like to do through exam n ask abt illness n then do some tests like X ray of that joint , blood test to see its not infection that causing this pain ... once i confirm dx then Tx it accordingly ... Brufen having both affect antiinflamatory n analgesic , u r feeling pain Bcs it s not enough analgesia for u to relieve pain pain, so need to add another drug for pain relive or just switch string analgesia like ketorlac etc..
