Does Intake Of Dicynone Help In Treating Irregular Menstruation?
Hi! I m 27 years old, don t have any children and I have been seeing my menstrual cycle for over 30 days. I was given dicynone to stop the cycle. Should I take it? I also have been struggling with irregular periods all my period life and I am over weight. I know I need to lose weight but no matter what I do I can t seem to lose any.
It can be difficult to lose weight, it is one of the more difficult battles to face sometimes and may be frustrating. It is possible that the weight may be linked to your irregular cycles with a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Since it can be difficult to lose weight on your own , you may want to condition an online group such as weight watchers or a group which would send meal replacements. Replacing one or two meals daily with a meal replacement would help.
This tactic can be combined with altering the other meals so that they are either low fat/low calorie or low carb meals. Menus or meals of either type are available online but you would have to stick to it with all food/drink.
Exercise 150 to 200 minutes a week ,combining both aerobic and strength training.
You can consider taking the medication to help with your periods.
I hope this helps
