Does Intake Of Clavam And Paracetamol Relieve Body Pain And Diarrhea?
Sir my mother is suffering from fever and dry cough. Doc hs referred for clavam 625 -thrice a day and paracetamol -thrice a day and allegra 120 before sleeping at night. She is diabetic too of type 2. Please guide whether these medicine will cure the disesase and body pain and problem of diarrhoea will also be resolved by this.

The doctor has treated you for a upper respiratory tract infection,but the medicine Clavam (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid ) has a side effect of causing diarrhea in certain individuals.
If you mother cannot tolerate the diarrhea,then it would be advisable to stop clavam and visit your doctor for a switch of antibiotics.
Taking paracetamol 1gram every six hours will help to reduce the fever and body pain.
