Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the urticaria.
The most common side effects associated with the use of Atorvastatin include:
Muscle pain, fatigue, weakness, right upper
abdominal pain due to inflammation of the liver, and rarely allergic rash which is generalized and mild in nature.
The most likely cause of skin rash in patient with
celiac disease is
Dermatitis herpetiformis.
It is an itchy, blistering skin disease that stems from intestinal gluten intolerance.
The rash usually occurs on the elbows, knees, torso, scalp and buttocks.
Dermatitis herpetiformis is often associated with changes to the lining of the
small intestine identical to that of celiac disease.
You need to consult your treating doctor for this type of dermatitis (inflammation of the skin).
Dermatitis herpetiformis is best treated with a
gluten-free diet and your doctor may recommend a skin medication (dapsone) along with the gluten-free diet.
Hope the explanation given could be of help in getting the treatment of dermatitis.
A feed back is appreciated.
