Does Insulin Placed Into A Cartridge For An Insulin Pump Leach Chemicals?

Does insulin (novolog) that has been placed into a cartridge for an insulin pump leach chemicals, bpa, etc.? Esp if the insulin was placed into the cartridge weeks before use? Is there any research that suggests this practice is adverse with respect to leaching of chemicals from an insulin cartridge, such as used by Animas Corp., in their pumps?
