Does Injury To Achilles Area Cause Nerve Damage?

11 years ago I was hit in my watershed Achilles area with a pallet jack. I have never been able to play sports or run since. I hobbled for weeks. I put on a considerable amount of weight. I am now 53 and I get MAJOR Charlie horse/cramp daily. A lot at night. Seems like my heel has to pressurize downward to a normal position until pain stops. Is this nerve damage from that injury?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that probably you are suffering from muscle cramps. It is most probably due to vitamin deficiencies. You can get EvionLC and calcium for getting relief. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken for pain relief. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
