Does Inflamed Skin And Bleeding Near The Anus Require Medical Attention?
My husband has been with other men in the past and I m concerned for him cause his anus about 5-6 days ago was raw, red and some skin gone. Then about 3 days ago he was leaking a clear fluid out of his anus to the point it soaked through his underwear into his pants. I found 2 blood soaked rolls of toilet paper in the garbage that he won t own up to but they weren t mine. Do I need to take him to the hospital? Is his life in danger with this stuff going on? Or, do so i need to leave him for my own health concerns if he s again being sexually active with other men?
As per your case history you are having peri-anal dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily. 3. Take an anti-histamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily. 4. Other treatment options are oral anti-biotics like levofloxacin and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
