Does Hypothyroidism Caise Depeession?

I have hypothyroidism. Take 88mg of levothyroxine per day for the last 3 years. Still feel fatigue and have hot flashes and depression. Thyroid test show 1.4 first dignoses was at 15. Vit.D tested at 30 now at 34 after taking 1000 unit Vit D. Chlorestol is 224. No energy and get 14 hours of sleep per day.

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

1. Your thyroid function tests are normal now. You can continue with same dose of thyroid medications

2. Vitamin D levels are on the lower side but ok. Need to continue replacements

3. Cholesterol is high. Better to start on medications
