Does Hormonal Imbalance Cause Intermenstrual Bleeding?
So I had two periods in the month of May. The last one being on May 27 for 5 days. The next period I got was just yesterday on June 29. It is heavier than spotting but it is a lot lighter than my normal period. I did have sex in between that time. But I don t think I m pregnant. I was wondering if you think I could have a hormonal imbalance?

Yes hormone imbalance can cause intermenstrual bleeding. If you had unprotected sex, you should do a pregnancy test to determine if it is positive or not. yes hormone imbalance can develope any time in woman ,s lif e, it could be temporary and correct itself. if irregular periods continue , you should be examined by a gynecologit to determine other causes of irregular bleeding
