Does History Of Having Miscarriage Cause A Problem In Future Pregnancies?

Hi all, Last 5 months before miscarriage happen in my pregnancy completed 8 months due to absences of fluid. As of now we didt know reason for low fluid. My blood group is O+ve and my husband blood is B-ve My age is 27 now I dont have any previous medical illness. I use to travel in bike in pregnancy period. During pregnancy i didt use folic acid capsule I just want to know whether is there any risk for next pregnancy and reason for the low fluid. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I strongly recommend you to take folic acid three months before pregnancy it is mandatory especially in your case. However it is your doctor that should advise you regarding the risks of not taking it and it's you that will decide further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
