Does High Blood Pressure Cause Discomfort In The Lower Ribcage?
Its been approximately a month since i feel discomfort around both sides of my lower ribcage it feels like a pulled muscle but lately i feel it in the top part of my abdomen. Its not too painful but its getting more and more uncomfortable. Im 29 and recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. What can it be?
Your symptoms could be related to uncontrolled arterial hypertension or a bulging disc in the thoracic vertebral column. For this reason, I recommend closely monitoring your blood pressure values and performing some tests: - A thoracic spine X-ray study - A chest X-ray study - Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation - Kidney and liver function tests
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
