Does High BP Reduce Sexual Desire? Can Low Sperm Condition Be Treated? How Can Stress Be Reduced?
Oh yes Doc! my questions are as follows: 1. Does high blood presure condition reduce sexual desire in men? 2. Can low sperm count condition caused by sexual transmitted infection be treated? 3. What food stuffs should be avoided by a person who has recently finished TB treatment? 4. Can stress as a result of studies cause high blood presure, if so how best can such a stress be controlled to avoid high blood presure?
1. Yes, over time, UNCONTROLLED hypertension (BP) can result in certain damage to the blood vessels, this can result in poor circulation of blood to the penis (resulting in various sexual conditions; including reduced libido)
2.No, this cannot be sexually transmitted. But there are various infections that are sexually transmitted, that can result in poor sperm production
3. There is no such thing that should be avoided after completion of anti-tubercular regimen. Instead, TB would have resulted in weight loss, and so, a high-protein diet is advised
There are various relaxation techniques advised to avoid taking stress. But for high blood pressure you need lifestyle modifications and blood-pressure lowering medications.
I hope this helps.
Take care.
