Does Heart Failure At 20% Need Immediate Attention?

I had a stress treadmill test yesterday. 64 years old, target heart rate was 130. At 140 the Dr said everything was good and he was going to end the test. I requested that we continue as long as I could continue and he agreed. At 157 HR an abnormality popped up, he asked if I had any pain or symptoms and I said no, After another 30 seconds he decided to end the test. Now of course they wish to do an angiogram along with whatever procedure the test may indicate is needed. My question is, does a failure at 20% over target HR require immediate attention or does it leave some room to do research before agreeing to do something that could be major?

I really appreciate your concern, if this was the developing of some ischemia then this needs immediate attention, some time with such excellent target heart rate may not develop any emergency it may be very unlikely and if does happened as your query is here then it is emergency, hope this information helps, take care.
