Does Fungal Infection Lead To UTI?

Hello,

I visited a doctor today since i felt itching and mild burning sensation inside penis.He indicated i have a fungal infection.Prescribed triben cream,zozon,tiniba,trulimax and triglo.Is this medicines ok? My urine colour now is little bit orange.Will it be the UTI ( with pus cells in urine )? Does fungal infections cause UTI.If i take the above medicines,everything will be cured?

Well, fungal infections are rare cause of UTI unless there is some underlying cause such as immunocompromised patients or in those with serious infection in other body parts. I think that you should do swab test and std testing and only if fungal is confirmed then it should be treated. Blind therapy is not recommended. Regards.
