Does Frequent Masturbation Cause Ill Effects On The Health?

Hi I am over 60 and single however very fit and healthy. I masturbate daily and find my ejaculate thinner and less volume then when I was 55 it is also more watery. I would like to know if I am damaging my health by masturbating so often or if it makes me more healthy then someone who does not?

There are various myths about masturbation. To clear your doubt, I must tell you that masturbation is a safe self gratifying sexual practice. There is no fear of getting STD, and it is an easy way to relive sexual urges. No specific recommendation is available about frequency of masturbation. Few people with high sexual desire do it multiple times in a day and some do it once a week or month. But you should always give priority to other important things in life and should not make it a routine. Volume and thickness of semen gets less with more frequent masturbation, as well as the sperm count also, but this should not be a concern at your age. Masturbation neither makes you healthier nor makes you weaker. It relieves your sexual tension and gives you good relaxation with sound sleep for some time, but no way it is a must do act for good health. Many people do not masturbate and yet are healthy.
Good health depends on a lot of other things like balanced diet, regular exercise, adequate rest, and sound sleep.
