Can I quit taking my medication for GERD without having withdrawal symptoms? Being on this medication causes low magnesium levels which can be fatal - I discovered this only because I had all the symptoms for low magnesium levels listed in a book on alternative medicine and quickly went on a diet rich in magnesium. I am now experiencing waking up to brain tremors every single morning. My heart rythym is very, very strange. I feel like this medicine has really messed me up worse than when I went on it. My Dr put me on it for life with no monitoring periodically. I feel like I ve been left for road-kill! I would like to get off the medicine and treat my Gut problem naturally. What do you think?
