Does Excessive Usage Of Skin Lite Cream Cause Infertility?

Hi Doctor, I am Saranya, I am using the Skin light cream for past 2 Years. I don't know the side effects before. Now only I came to know . I have read all the suggestion here, I was very much shocked and scared :( :(. before 5 months I got married. I have two queries
1. It cause any side effects for my pregnancy ?
2.Still now I don't have any problem with my skin, I used for 2 years. Shall I stop from today ?

Please provide me your inputs on this

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Skinlite cream contains ingredients like Hydroquinone, Tretinoin and Mometasone furoate that is a steroid..
Long term use of this creams seems to have shown localized side effects but infertility or difficulty in conceiving is not generally seen to be caused by it..
Long term use of steroid based creams seems to have deleterious effects on skin like skin thinning,rashes, inflammation, pimples, increased hairgrowth and pigmentation and dilated veins under skin.
You should not stop using it at once as it can lead to withdrawal side effects and should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you a tapering method of stopping the application of the cream..
You can be advised to taper down by using it twice a day for a week, followed by using it once a day for another week, then once a day every alternate day and gradually stopping application completely..
