i am 31yrs a national bodybuilder.2yrs back i caught in dope test.the salt caught in test was probenecid.but sir i never took that medicine for the competetion.how is it possible sir?i took simple whey protein,cellmass,nitric oxide,r-butrol,clenbutrol,creatine.someone say due to too much food supplement a chemical reaction in the body is happened and that probenecid is formed.is it true sir ??pl sir guide me because i am preparing for next competitiuon.

It is possible to get certain metabolites in the body to be converted to similar compound as of probenecid as probenecid is a prodrug, converted to the active compound in the body via metabolism.

It is not the drug, but the chemical reactants similar like to Probenecid are giving positive lab tests.
