Does Elevated ASO Level Cause Persistent Back Pain?
Hello, I have had back pain for almost 2 months so I decided to see a doctor, he did a blood test and my ASO Level resulted to be 264, the doctor said that this is the reason I have the back pain , therefore he said to see an ENA Specialist ASAP which I did. I have seen 2 ENA Specialists , both of them they said it s nothing to worry. But from the first doctor s reaction I am still not sure 100% if everything is ok. Could you please help me with an advice/opinion. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, back pain and ASO test are two different condition and it is not related with each others ASO is indicative of previous bacterial infection of throat and may not related with back pain, and for back pain imaging study is must and not the blood test, hope this information helps.
